Primavera: Fiorentina battle back to draw 2-2 with Roma

Fiorentina Primavera fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Roma in their league game on Wednesday.

The Giallorossi raced into a two-goal lead after Gianmarco Cangiano struck on four minutes and then again just before the 20-minute mark, but there was drama soon afterwards as Riccardo Cargnelutti was given his marching orders on 24 minutes for a second bookable offence.

Fiorentina steadied the ship and pulled a goal back through Dusan Vlahovic on 34 minutes, with the Serb netting again in the 41st minute to haul the Viola level.

There were to be no further goals, however, and the result meant that Fiorentina stay third, ahead of Roma on the head-to-head rule.
