U19s beat Juventus 2-0 and dedicate victory to Davide Astori

Fiorentina Primavera extended their unbeaten run to 11 games as they beat Juventus 2-0 on Saturday – with the goals and the win dedicated to Davide Astori.

Defender Pierluigi Pinto broke the deadlock when he rose to meet a corner midway through the first half before Gabriele Gori lashed home off the bar to double the lead minutes later.

Victory sees Fiorentina U19s strengthen their grip on fourth place with a game in hand (against Torino) to play.

Before the game, a delegation from Juventus Primavera visited the Stadio Franchi to lay a tribute to Astori.
